Nha Trang's Best-Kept Secret: A Non-Touristy Gem for Stunning Sea Views

Alright, I can't keep this incredible secret to myself any longer! Are you ready to discover the absolute best place to watch a breathtaking sunrise in Nha Trang? It's none other than the magnificent Cu Hin Pass.

Cu Hin Pass is a well-known spot in Nha Trang for its beauty and unique location. As you journey along the road at Cu Hin Pass, you'll be treated to a mesmerizing view of the sea from high up in the mountains. The harmonious blend of mountains and sea creates a picturesque scenery that truly showcases the beauty of Khanh Hoa province.

To reach Cu Hin Pass, head south from the coastal city of Nha Trang on Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, which leads to Cam Ranh Airport. This scenic road winds its way through Cu Hin Pass, which stretches for about 8 kilometers and sits 20 meters above sea level. Along the pass, there is a designated stop for tourists to rest and admire the breathtaking scenery. From here, you can gaze out towards Nha Trang Bay, and even catch a glimpse of the city.

But wait, my secret spot isn't located here, though it still offers incredible photo opportunities and a stunning view. Let me share with you the directions to find my hidden gem below. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!

The secret path to the best spot in Nha Trang

Before reaching the designated sea view stop, there's a little detour you need to take. Look out for a power pole marked with the number 474 171. Once you spot it, you'll notice a path leading downwards. Don't worry, just trust the process and follow this path that will eventually lead you to a tunnel. Usually, you'll find the tunnel on your right. Interestingly, this tunnel used to be a drain for water to pass through.

Once you enter the tunnel, the path ahead may become less clear. It's time to explore and rely on your instincts! You can either follow my guidance (by walking straight from the tunnel) or let your ears guide you by listening to the sound of the calling sea. If you come across any visible path, follow it. These paths were actually formed by the flow of a river in the past. And if you encounter a local along the way, don't hesitate to ask for their help. They might offer valuable assistance!

Keep walking until you finally catch sight of the sparkling sea. However, be prepared for a slightly more challenging route if luck isn't on your side. To descend towards the sea, you'll need to navigate a rocky path equipped with a rope to help you safely move up and down. If you feel brave like me, you can also try the descent without the rope, but please be careful! 

Once you reach the bottom, you have two options. You can turn left and embark on a little climbing adventure among the beautiful rocky formations in the sea. Or, if you prefer, you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the view from a distance.
